Passing by "majestic" real estate developments every day, with descriptions more pompous than the next: exceptional amenities, luxury finishes, imported materials, maximum comfort, five minutes from the center (if you teleport), etc. And because this profession makes you critical, always having something to comment about what you see in the images posted on the fences of construction sites, we thought we'd start a series of articles where we share our opinions about what's being built in terms of new housing in Iași.

We admit that DISCOMFORT RESIDENCE, the book by Radu Negoiță (p.s. it's worth reading by anyone thinking of mortgaging a good part of their income for the next 30 years for a new apartment) was a catalyst for our long-delayed endeavor.

We want to inform, not throw stones at some, nor praise others to the skies, to help as many prospective buyers as possible understand when a developer is only interested in profit or when they want to offer quality at the right price. It's perfectly normal to want maximum profit, but it's unfair to obtain it only because housing demand is high and you take advantage of the impatience and ignorance of many eager to move into a home of their own, without paying competent people for design, circumventing laws and regulations.
