It's that pavilion where you spend your summer with the windows open. It's the place where in autumn preparations and jars are planned for the cold season, and during holidays it smells like baking. More specifically, it's an evolution of the summer kitchen from traditional rural households. On an existing platform and a sloped terrain, we imagined a construction of exposed concrete and wood. This was to become the favorite place of the cheerful family for culinary experiments, for gatherings and colorful meals with friends, or simply for peace, relaxation, with all windows open, enjoying the view.
The project received a mention in the Residential Architecture section at the Moldova Regional Architecture Awards 2022.
