About the project

On a sloped terrain with an opening towards a forest in Iași, we imagined and placed a dwelling on split levels, so that the interior spaces have a natural connection with the exterior. The height differentiation also brings a desired separation of the living area from the more intimate sleeping area, but also of the children's universe from that of the parents.

The common universe is an ample area where activities and passions unite, where the kitchen, dining area, living room, and covered terrace are gathered around the fireplace. The ample glazing towards the view completes the harmony, and the skylight brings the play of light into the heart of the house throughout the day. Symmetry, light, and the relationships between spaces are complemented by raw and sincere materials – exposed concrete, wood, leather, metal, and here and there colors, passions, and a little playful spirit are sprinkled.
